The Orangevale Woman's Club is partnering with local businesses to collect new and gently used bras and menstrual products through the month of April.

People typically don't think of donating menstrual products and bras to our local organizations, but their need is never ending especially during this past year. Women would rather put food on the table or pay for electricity for their family than use the money for their own needs. When students return to campus, girls who do not have easy access to menstrual products may skip school for the week or resort to using rolls of toilet paper or paper towels. 


The Club will distribute the bras to the Underground Clothing Closet in Sunrise Mall which serve approximately 3,200 San Juan Unified families that live in transitional or insecure housing and to Saint John's Program for Real Change. The menstrual products will be given to the Orangevale Fair Oaks Food Bank and to the Sacramento Children's Home. Here are ways you can help:
