BRA & MENSTRUAL PRODUCT DRIVE

THANK YOU!

2023 is starting off a bang with the Orangevale Woman’s Club! With the help of 14 businesses, organizations and thrift stores, we were able to collect 7,694 bras and menstrual items! THANK YOU to our amazing community for helping our local women and girls. We are looking forward to delivering these items to The Underground Clothing Connection, Orangevale Teen Council and four other organizations! Be sure to hang on to any ill-fitting bras as we’ll be collecting them again next March.

We collected seven bags of trash along Madison Ave during our Adopt-a-Street cleanup this month. Also in April, we spent some time with Orangevale Parks and Rec’s Creek Week and at the Food Bank Farm. Thanks to the success of our Bunco Night in March, we raised funds to purchase sports equipment for Ottomon, Trajan and Green Oaks Elementary Schools. We also made a donation for Casa Roble High School drama students to attend the Oregon Shakespeare festival.

In May, we’ll be announcing our scholarship winners, helping out at the Big Day of Service and selling our handmade crafts at the Spring Craft Fair at the Orangevale Community Center. Are you interested in finding out how you can help our community while having fun? Come to our May 4th meeting at the Orangevale Grange at 11 am and bring a friend!
