Wow! Our summer break is about over but we sure had a great summer!
We kicked it off with our Annual Membership Tea where we celebrated our wonderful ladies that are so supportive of each other and our community!
The Red, White and Blue parade in June is always a fun event to participate in.
Members visited Sausalito, Muir Woods with OV Parks & Rec and the California Federation of Women’s Clubs Grove. Did you know that in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park there is the Federation Hearthstone? It was built in 1933 to commemorate the Federation’s role in saving the park’s old-growth redwoods and was designed by Julia Morgan, who was also the architect of Hearst Castle.
This weekend, we were at the Salsa Cook Off enjoying the fun that Helping Hands OV organized to raise funds for their trade school scholarships.
We're looking forward to getting back together for our fall community service projects and club activities. Our next meeting is Sept 4th at 11 am at the Orangevale Grange. We hope to see you there!

This weekend, the Orangevale History Museum celebrated their 2nd anniversary and unveiled their newest exhibit on the Orangevale Woman's club. We may be a little biased, but we think it's the best exhibit yet!

Be sure to swing by and check it out on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from noon to 4 pm. FREE admission!

We had so much fun yesterday at the Red, White and Blue parade! So much fun that we forgot to take a picture of all the members that carried our banner and handed out candy to the crowd. Unsurprisingly, all the pictures were focused on the fabulous 1974 Fiat!! What a great way to kick off the summer!
