Let us support our local restaurants by stopping by for some amazing and delicious foods. Help us in letting the restaurant know how important it is to our community by ordering take-out or dine-in service, as allowed. Check back each week for more featured restaurants.

This week we're supporting La Placita Mexican RestaurantRead our interview with the owner, Carlos.

Our community is absolutely amazing!! We collected 8,100 menstrual items and 1,100 bras during the month of April! We were able to distribute them to Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank, Underground Clothing Connection for San Juan Unified families, Saint John's Program for Real Change, Maryhouse (Loaves and Fishes), Sacramento Children's Home, Paint Sacramento Pink and Stand Up Placer.

Thank you to everyone who donated via our Amazon wishlist or dropped something off at one of the wonderful businesses that supported us: Badfish Coffee, OV Copy, Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank, The Art Box, Anytime Fitness, Madison Mall Bingo, Grocery Outlet, The Last Tangle Salon and Luz Johnson, LPL Financial.
